Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation’s Grand Cru Culinary Wine Festival raises over $5 million for research.
BV, creative agency for Grand Cru Culinary Wine Festival, announces another successful year for Canada’s premier culinary and wine fundraiser.
Presented by Rogers, the 9th annual event, boasting a star-studded line-up including Goldie Hawn (The Banger Sisters, Town & Country), Kiefer Sutherland (24, Touch), Eric Braeden (The Young and the Restless) and Kevin Frankish (City TV Breakfast Television), raised over $5 million to support groundbreaking scientific research and fund key programs at Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospital, UHN. With over 3,000 attendees collectively at the Grand Cru Live Auction, Halpern Portfolio Wine Tasting, and The Exclusive Wine & Dine Experience hosted in 30 spectacular private homes, the event received notable acclaim and coverage by City News, Breakfast Television, KISS 92.5, ET Canada, eTalk, Hello! Canada, and the National Post to name a few. Proceeds from this year’s Festival will benefit the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre and the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine where funds will be used collaboratively for research in heart, arthritis, vision and diabetes.
BV has been instrumental in creating and developing the creative direction and supporting visual assets for Grand Cru since its inception in 2005. The Festival has now raised more than $16.4 million in support of research. For more about Grand Cru, visit grandcru.ca
